Hi, I’m Saniya! I’m a published writer based in Gujarat, India, with a background in International Studies and Film Production from Indiana University Bloomington.

I thrive at the intersection of creativity and social responsibility. My work spans a range of subjects, from food, philanthropy, and travel, to advocacy-focused storytelling for non-profits, where I have voiced for issues such as women’s rights in Iran and U.S. refugee policy, to name a few. Across my work, I lead with authenticity, thoughtful editorial judgement, and a human-centered approach to storytelling that fosters creative leadership.

Outside of work, I find joy in traveling, hiking, photography, reading, baking, painting, and conversing with creatives across the arts.

Vision and Purpose

I believe we all have a moral and social responsibility—not only to our communities and the environments we directly engage with, but to the world beyond it too. We must shift how we view, understand, and protect the planet while creating and embracing transformative narratives that drive innovation and inspire positive change.

Through my work, I strive to fulfill this purpose gradually. Whether through advocacy writing, photography, or film, my goal is to find and tell authentic, thought-provoking stories that can foster genuine curiosity and empathy for the undiscovered wonders of our world, to unearth perspectives needed to shape a more sustainable and solution-driven future.
