Young Women on a Mission
If there’s anyone who has said that you have to be of a certain age to make a difference in the world, you might want to reconsider! You will be surprised to find out how these young women have, from a very young age, changed the lives of thousands of women through their non-profit organizations. Here is a list of 3 such non-profit organizations:

For more than 2 decades, this non-profit has been a national award-winning leader in arts education as the first and only mentoring organization for girls in New York. Girls Write Now works with a team of 14 young women.

What started as an ordinary YouTube video has now become a powerful and widely recognized non-profit organization. Tammy Tibbetts was 24 years old when she founded She’s The First with the aim to assure that every girl, despite her birthplace and background, is educated and heard. The organization believes in “using a right-based approach to empower and educate girls globally.” Over the years, it has been able to impact more than 167,000 girls across the globe.

School Girls Unite was founded in 2004 by a group of 12-year-old girls. This non-profit aims to fight gender-based discrimination in education and promote education among girls. School Girls Unite is a Mali-based organization because UNICEF identified it as one of the 25 countries with a high percentage of girls not receiving education.
